Zino Côte d’Ivoire has raised the bar for cigar culture in Africa with the launch of a new Habanos Lounge and Habanos Specialist in Abidjan. This latest addition isn’t just another retail space; it’s a statement of elegance, expertise, and commitment to premium cigar experiences on the continent.

Zino has a long-standing legacy in Ivory Coast, dating back to 1980 when its first boutique was inaugurated in the heart of Abidjan by Zino Davidoff himself. Over the decades, the brand has grown steadily, now boasting 20 boutiques across the capital, including seven tobacconists. But this latest project marks a new chapter.

Unveiled earlier in 2025, the new boutique is positioned as the flagship of the brand’s African presence. As a certified Habanos Specialist, it offers an extensive and curated selection of Cuban cigars, housed in a 120-square-meter walk-in humidor. The ground floor also includes a dedicated 30-square-meter spirits section and a refined assortment of cigar accessories from brands like ST Dupont, Elie Bleu, Davidoff, and Les Fines Lames.

Upstairs, the Habanos Lounge delivers a premium setting exclusively for cigar aficionados. Spanning 120 square meters, it offers a refined and private atmosphere where clients can enjoy cigars in comfort.

The Habanos Lounge concept, already synonymous with excellence in other parts of the world, now finds its African stronghold in Abidjan.

With this new space, Zino strengthens the presence of the Habanos brand across the African continen; a market that continues to show growing interest in luxury tobacco culture.
