III Habanos Day in Costa Rica
On the sands of Esterillos Beach in the Pacific of Costa Rica, the III Habanos Day was celebrated again with a tropical and beach theme.
This Habanos Day, for a limited capacity of one hundred guests, was organized by Cruz Canela & Trust GB S.A, Exclusive Distributor of Habanos, S.A for Costa Rica and Nicaragua, along with the collaboration of La Casa del Habano de San José and the Cuban Embassy in Costa Rica.
The Habanos Day took place , once again, at the Alma del PacÃfico Hotel with the  participation of experts and beginners in the Habano Culture, smoking clubs, local government personalities and the honorable Ambassador of Cuba Mr. Jorge RodrÃguez, who managed a  toast to those who was present.
The event started with, a Junior Course at the Habanos Academy which  thirty-one people were graduated by passing an exam and getting their certificates. The junior course was also conducted by Graduated Master, MR Luis GarcÃa Cruz, General Manager of Cruz Canela & Trust GB S.A.
The night’s theme was a tribute to the last Habanos Festival held from feb 26th to 1st of March, where the same Habanos brands celebrated were tasted: Quai D’Orsay No. 50 and Trinidad Esmeralda respectively, being the star of the evening. , H. Upmann Coronas Major among others were also tasted.
During the evening, guests were able to enjoy a dinner of nine tasty Costa Rican and Cuban fusion dishes, created by the renowned chef D. Fernando Alfaro, such as Yellowfin Tuna Tataki, Ropa Vieja or Pollo beurre blanc & camote. Also, Coffee and chocolate sponsored by Café Britt were part of the evening´s tasting. These products are immensely popular in airports and luxury hotels in around ten Latin American countries. The food and cigars of the brands H. Upmann, Quai D´Orsay and Trinidad were paired with Rioja wines and Havana Club rum.
The night was enlivened with musical performances by Trinity Waters, who harmonized the beautiful sunset over the ocean with her elegant voice, giving way to more tropical and Cuban rhythms by the group, Tropical Monkeys.
