HABANOS, S.A. PRESENTS TRINIDAD VILLA
Habanos, S.A., in collaboration with I.E.P.T. (Importadora y Exportadora de Puros y Tabacos, S.A. de C.V.), revealed to the world the new Trinidad Villa, a new vitola that captures the refined and avant-garde spirit of the Trinidad brand.
The official launch took place on 13 November at Jardín Lambúin Mexico City, one of the city’s most distinguished garden venues. More than 200 guests – including aficionados, distributors, media and special invitees – enjoyed an exclusive gala evening with live music by Primera Clase, a high-end gastronomic experience curated by Eduardo Kohlmann Banquetes, a tasting of the Havana Club Iconic Line, and an auction of commemorative Trinidad products. The highlight of the night came with the unveiling of Trinidad Villa, marked by a spectacular performance from the Blue Man Group, whose energy and creativity set the tone for this special moment.

With its Julieta No. 3 factory size (47 × 170 mm) and medium strength, Trinidad Villa offers a smooth, balanced smoke. Its light caramel-coloured wrapper (carmelita claro) embraces a carefully selected blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo area in Pinar del Río, Cuba’s most prestigious tobacco-growing region. The result is an elegant Habano with layered notes of wood, toast and cocoa, and a long, refined finish that remains true to the Trinidad profile.

Created exclusively for La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialists, Trinidad Villa is presented with an additional band underlining the uniqueness of the concept, as well as a foot band bearing the vitola name. The cigars are packaged in a specially designed 12-unit box developed for this launch. Taking its name from the colonial villas of the city of Trinidad – recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site – this new vitola pays tribute to Cuban architecture, elegance and cultural legacy.

Tasting Notes

First third: Correct draw and excellent combustion, with uniform, compact ash in light grey tones. Fresh, balanced smoke with elegant roasted and woody notes, gentle bitterness and pleasant tobacco flavours of medium complexity.
Second third: Flavours deepen, with more defined tobacco and toasted notes, supported by persistent wood and a well-integrated bitterness. The smoke gains structure while maintaining refinement.
Final third: Aromas and flavours become more pronounced, with delicate cocoa notes adding warmth and roundness. A subtle, lingering aftertaste expresses the hallmark of Trinidad: elegance, balance and lasting pleasure.
Estimated smoking time: 50 minutes to 1 hour.
